Atmospheric Settings… Women Under Pressure

About Me

Dianne was the editor of a school magazine and her favourite subject was always English essays.

She kept diaries as a child living in Singapore and Cyprus then went on to keep exhaustive journals on her many travels. After her short stories were published in anthologies she went on to complete her debut novel Outcast which was accepted for publication by Tirgearr. A Hundred Hands, set in the slums of Kolkata, and Oppression which deals with a forced marriage and the issue of control within relationships soon followed. Fractured families feature in The House in Fez and her new release, Unspoken deals with the undercurrents of violence which run beneath the surface of many domestic situations.

Dianne’s life and travels in far flung places provide rich material for her writing and her readers will be transported to exotic and atmospheric settings in the company of women responding to enormous challenges.

She is a keen member of Just Write in Leicester, plus Peatling Magna Writing Group.
